Reagan was a hit with all the firefighters at the Chili Superbowl. They loved her and she loved...their mustaches! However, Chief Frazier won the prize! He was able to keep her attention the longest with his white caterpillar! Thank you to every firefighter with a mustache for keeping our baby entertained!

Our Baby is 9 months old!
Reagan was 9 months old on August 28th. She weighs 19 lbs. 2 oz. and is 29 1/2 inches long. It seems like time is flying by! She has mastered crawling and pulling up on EVERYTHING! She's learned how to climb up on things and she's able to stand for about 5 seconds without holding onto anything. She's also cruising the furniture so I'm sure it won't be long until she starts walking. For her 9 month "birthday" Granny brought her a cake and she even got presents. Then we had to have a photo shoot, of course.

Windows
Reagan's new favorite thing is looking out the window. She gets so excited when she pulls herself up and can see out into the yard. She lets out the sweetest little laugh everytime and it just makes my day!

Back on the Mountain!
Back in July we went to Granby, Colorado for the National Mountain Biking Competition. Aaron was racing in Category 3 Downhill and we couldn't miss it! So, Opa, Reagan, and I set out on Thursday afternoon to meet Aaron in Colorado. The 3 of us arrived EARLY (5:30 am) on Friday morning. Aaron went to practice Friday morning and raced on Saturday. He placed 3rd in his Category! Reagan and I were there on the side of the mountain to cheer him on!
Back at camp Saturday night we decided to take it easy. Reagan and Opa played and enjoyed the nice cool weather and blue skies!
The next morning we enjoyed blueberry pancakes, bacon, and eggs. Reagan even had her first taste at blueberry pancakes. They tasted great and she wore them well!
On the way out of Colorado we just had to stop to take a picture by the river running by the road. Couldn't get Reagan's face because she wouldn't stop looking at the rushing water long enough to look at the camera!
We decided to stop in New Mexico on our way home rather than driving all night. Reagan was so happy to be out of the car seat that she didn't care where she sat to play! The grass was comfortable, cool, and fun to eat!
The next morning while Mommy was cooking breakfast and packing stuff up, Reagan was being so good and quiet and entertaining herself. Little did we know...she found the toliet paper! Very proud of herself and it was just too cute to miss the photo op!
Home at last! We finally made it home on Monday afternoon. Again Reagan was very happy to be out of the car. And again...she was being so quiet and we were so proud! This time...she had found the dog's water dish. She had a blast sliding it across the floor and splashing in the puddles!
Overall we had a great trip. We enjoyed EVERYTHING down to the 16 hour drive! We got to enjoy some of the greatest panoramic views that God has to offer!
Daddy's Little Girl
Reagan wants to be just like Daddy. She's been practicing driving her fire truck, wearing her firefighter boots, and even participating in her own "Fill-the-Boot" fundraiser. I have to say...she's pretty good at getting money. She holds up her boot and Opa puts $20 in it!
What a deal!
Splish Splash
It's been a summer filled with fun in the sun and in the water! Reagan's whale pool (though it didn't last long) provided hours of fun! She wasn't too sure about it at first, but it didn't take long before we were splashing around.
After the whale pool "died," we upgraded to Lake Coleman! The life jacket isn't her favorite thing and sometimes she gets hot, but everything is better when she's floating in the water. Reagan loves the boat. She plays for several hours, swims a little here and there, and then it's nap time on the boat. God couldn't have blessed us with a more easy going and adventurous baby!

Piggy tails!
It's been a while since we've updated the blog...and when you look at it in Reagan pictures...it looks like years have flown by! These are pictures from Reagan's first pig tails! Her hair keeps getting longer and her big girl hair is coming in an I don't have the heart to get it cut!
