Big Girl

Just a little photo shoot with Mommy before leaving for Ms. Cindye's house!
Show me your happy face!
Now your sad face!
What a character!

They call them the Firemen!

The Abilene Fire Department and Police Department competed again this year on the bike trails for bragging rights and $200. This year Reagan stayed awake to help cook and serve food!
Aaron and Marty taking it easy before the race.
Aaron being interviewed by the news people! He was on every local channel except NBC.
All our Firefighters lined up before the big race. What a good looking group of guys!
And the top three winners are...FIREMEN!!! Aaron took 1st place, Marty Sanders (Aaron's Lt. won 2nd place, and Brian Scalf took 3rd! The top shooters were also firemen!
The moral of the story is...when your house is being robbed...call the fire department!

Little Lady

Still not back to 100% but we still take pictures!

Our little ladybug was not much for halloween. Getting in and out of the carseat and in and out of the costume was not really her cup of tea! However, going to see Old Mom and Old Dad was the highlight of her night!

Red or Orange? The paper tastes the same on both!

Ok, red...now you try it!

DAD!!! Give me that back!

All in all it was a fun night! And...we definitely have the cutest lady bug in town!

I have the measles and the mumps. A gash, a rash, and...

A popsicle?!

Reagan had her 1st illness. They called it "a virus" but said it was NOT the flu! (I had them test twice!) So, knowing that there is really nothing to do for a virus...we just hung out at home and I tried to find something she would actually eat/drink, just to stay hydrated! She was running a fever all day ranging from 102 to 104 degrees and eating was not what she wanted to do. Until...we had popsicles! I think the popsicle is the ultimate cure for "a virus." Check out that smile! Does she look sick?! Who needs tamaflu when you can have Blue Bell?!

Pink Heals in Abilene

The pink fire trucks have come and gone. Reagan had been sick the whole week before they came, but I wanted to make sure she got her picture with Daddy by the pink truck with the pink fire man!
Though she didn't really care much about the trucks, her Daddy, or Mommy ... she was more than happy to spend some time with Jasper, the black lab!

The Pink Heals Tour seemed like a HUGE success in Abilene! These guys are doing an awesome thing raising money and awareness for all types of cancer.

Here comes the bride...

Reagan got to be a flower girl for the very 1st time on October 10th! No offense to the bride, but my eyes were on the flower girl. And...the next few pictures will show you why! Before the wedding even started she tore her dress!
Can't figure out why?! Maybe it has something to do with her climbing on the chair.
Or maybe it was the steps!

I'm placing my bet on the steps!

After the dress was repaired, she had to settle on playing Peek-a-Boo on the couch!

Then along came the wagon and she got to play a little before they were
wheeled down the aisle.

She was really thinking about stealing that pacifier!

Then she became pre-occupied with the ring bearer pillow!
We made it through the wedding at to the reception where Reagan caught her 1st bouquet and Mommy had fun taking pictures!

I tried to get a nice picture or Aaron with Reagan and after many attempts...
this is the BEST one I got!

Doesn't really surprise me! It's just fitting!
She did finally find out which way was up and got some more sweet pictures!

After all the fun and festivities ended at one place, we were off to another gathering of family. But, Reagan just couldn't take it anymore! She slept in that corner for about 2 hours without a care in the world!
It was a lot of fun and she did a marvelous job as a flower girl!
Oh yeah...the bride looked great too! =)
Congratulations Uncle Ronnie and Wanda! Love you guys!

My Big Girl Shoes

Reagan has officially graduated to big girl shoes. Not because she's walking, but because she has big feet! We had to go into a size 4 at 10 months! She's still not too sure about these shoes yet. They make it a little hard for her to get around, but she'll learn! Not to mention...they're pretty cute shoes!
