At Granny & Opa's House

Reagan and I ventured to Houston by ourselves the other weekend! We made it 5 1/2 hours down to Houston and back without any major breakdowns! Reagan was a regular little trooper and a great traveler! Thanks to Daddy for recommending the "Roam" mountain biking video for entertainment! Reagan loved walking up and down the stairs. It was this day that I decided to NEVER own a 2-story home!

Playing upstairs and looking at everybody

Reagan and Opa LOVED playing with dominos while Mommy and Granny went to get a pedicure. Not really too sure that she cared that we were gone!

Gotcha!

Funny face!
Lovin' on Auntie Leah before she leaves for Huntsville

On the way home. She was just a little bit tired!
Cozy in her carseat

All in all it was a very fun trip with a very fun and special little girl! And we all know that Granny and Opa will never refuse a visit from their favorite little baby!

Happy 1st birthday Reagan!

November 28, 2009
I know I'm a little late, but we have a very busy life lead by Miss Reagan!

To my sweet 1 year old daughter:
You are the most precious gift that your Daddy and I have EVER received! You are so bright and happy and you can light up a room with your laughter! We are so blessed to have you in our lives. I hope you enjoyed your very first birthday because we've enjoyed your whole first year!
Happy Birthday!!!

Here are a few pictures from Reagan's 1st Birthday Party:

Whose idea was lasagna anyhow?!
I got a chair AND a duck!
YUMMY!
What a sweet girl to share!
All done! Looks like fun!
Time for some rest and relaxation!

Here are a few things you can do at 1 year old:
- You are 21 lbs. 4 oz. and 23 inches long
- You can say "Mama" and "Dada" and something that sounds like "Tank"
- You help put your arms in your sleeves when we get dressed
- You can take 4 steps all by yourself
- You can climb on everything
- You love to eat whatever we're eating and then some
- You drink everything (except milk) from a sippy cup
- You try really hard to use your spoon
- You point at things you want
- You mimic what we say

Here are some favorite foods:
- Chicken nuggets
- Bananas
- Marshmallows
- Yogurt
- Oranges
- Crackers
- Popcorn
- Noodles

A few more little facts:
- You need your first haircut, but Mommy can't make herself do it!
- You still only have 2 teeth
- You go to be around 7pm and sleep until 6pm
- You still like to take 2 naps
- You love to push buttons that make noise
- You love to play outside
- You love your puppies to lick you =P YUCK!
- You are the greatest little girl I know!!!

Little Drummer Girl

With the proper tools anyone can be a drummer!
Reagan quickly found out that different bowls and different spoons make different noises. So...maybe a drum set for her 3rd birthday?! It may have been a little noisy around the house, but she was highly entertained and entertaining all morning!

Changes...

Changes in weather: It's fall and the temperature is showing it. Reagan didn't have a jacket so off to Old Navy we go for a jacket and matching hat, of course!
Changes in age: Reagan needed a new carseat for Daddy's truck. Since she was going to turn 1 year old in 1 week we saw no need in putting the seat rear facing. So...our little girl is no longer riding backward! She loved the new seat and the new direction!

My little red wagon

Reagan recently got her first little red wagon from "Old Dad." He apparently bought it about 6 years ago and left it at his shop in the box. When he found it the other day he knew exactly what to do with it...give it to Reagan! Of course, it couldn't be her birthday present because 1 more week would be too long to wait! =) What a great surprise!

Climb every mountain...

And we're climbing! It's official nothing in our house is safe from Reagan from this day forward! I think it was a little surprising when the box starting rocking with her!

With a woof-woof here...

At Reagan's cousin's 2nd birthday Reagan got to chase 5 puppies all over the yard!
They snuck up behind her...
Until she felt their little puppy tongues! Then they were all hers!
Bad news when the dogs wouldn't come to her! =(
But, no worries...Addison to the rescue with puppies!
