I'm a survivor

Mommy is an official survivor of taking Reagan to the nursery at church.  And...believe it or not...she had a good time, survived, and came out smiling!
And to add to the good experience, I actually heard the sermon!

Sweet little cheesy grin!

Get that tree outta my truck!

Every year we have put the firefighter Christmas tree inside the firetruck.  Well...this year it proved to be a problem for Reagan!  She was not liking that she couldn't get into her truck.  With several attempts, she never gave up and the day the tree came down...Reagan returned to her truck!  We may have to reconsider our Christmas tree placement for next year.

Thank you Grover Family!

Thank you Dennis, Candis, and Amity for the loudest toy EVER!!!  And...for supplying our child with her very first weapon!  =)  Just kidding!  Despite the loud volume of the banging...we love this toy and so does Reagan!  After a little determined session of banging and screaming...

and a few mishaps where the balls went the wrong direction...
We have success!  And the kids were all happy!
Thanks again for hours of entertainment!

Again...sorry for the super late and out of order posts!  I'm getting this new system down!

Don't make me look like a boy!

I finally did it!  Reagan had her first haircut on January 26th!  She did GREAT and I didn't even cry!  We went to Cool Cuts 4 Kids to see Deanna after a glowing recommendation and some pictures of proof.  I was a little worried that I would have a screaming, tearful baby on my hands so Aaron met us for the hair cut.  Deanna put her in a little yellow taxi to watch the Backyardigans.  Reagan was much more concerned about driving the little car!

There were a few worries:
First, the squirt bottle...no problem!
After all, we use one every morning when we fix her hair!

Second, the scissors...no problem!
As much as this child moves I will NEVER try this at home!

Third...the blower dryer...no problem!
I mean really a blow dryer on a 1 year olds hair?!

And...Fourth...please don't look like a boy...NO PROBLEM!!!
When it was all said and done, Reagan look super cute and I couldn't wait to take her somewhere, anywhere just to show off that cute new hairstyle!

What a precious little angel!

P.S.  Sorry it took so LONG to post this!  I think I have finally figured out this new blogger set-up.  Maybe...

What not to wear

I really hope Reagan grows out of this fashion stage!  =)  What a way to dress when you cook!

Point of View

Every night as we sit at the table for dinner we watch the sun go down.  Through the window, past the playset, and through the mesquite trees is typically a beautiful pink and orange sunset.  As we were eating dinner one night Reagan started saying: "That Pink. That Orange."  I kept looking around to find those colors and then realized the sunset she was looking at out he window was a beautiful shade of pink and orange. She was amazed by sun going down.  She now says "the sun go night night."  Children see things in the most amazing way!  And God paints beautiful sunsets!

Not to mention the amazing job he did on these 2 little blessings!

Ringing in the New Year

It's a whole new year for life to take on a whole new meaning. 2009 ended quietly with the 3 of us home alone. Reagan enjoyed a bedtime of 7:30 and Aaron and I enjoyed a fire in the fireplace, hot chocolate with whipped cream, and good conversation. 2010 will hold a lot of changes for our family. We are expecting a baby boy in May. Not only will that mean 2 babies under the age of 2, but we also have to figure out what to do with a little boy! Aaron will be changing shifts at work. He will now be on B-shift, which really doesn't change things for our family, but we'll miss seeing all the guys on C-shift. As for my job...no real changes which suits me just fine! The new little boy, who has no name should be born in early May. So...that means that I'll have a lot of the summer off for maternity leaving. I think we;ll be making a few trips to the mountains for camping and so Aaron can race again. Should be interesting with two little bitty ones in the camper, not to mention on a mountain! YIKES!!! Should be interesting and we'll keep you posted!

Hope everyone has a blessed 2010!
