No secret

So...it's really no secret that our kiddos are a little wild and fearless.  I'm sure most kids at the ages of 2 years and 9 months are often listed in this category, but all I know are my own.  Adam pulls up and attempts to climb on everything!  He's taken quite a few tumbles, but he never lets it stop him from trying again!
Then there's Reagan...from the time she was born we knew we had our hands full!  She's NEVER moved slow.   She had perfect head control at 1 month, was crawling around 4 months, cruising furniture around 6 months, and walking 1 week before her first birthday.  Nothing slows her down and to this day...she shows no fear!
What a life!  Life with 2 fast and furious kiddos has proved to be one blessing after another!

My Funny Valentines

Aaron and I rarely "celebrate" Valentines Day.  However, the kids do have a party at daycare that they get all dressed up for and exchange candy and cards.  So...in a way...we celebrate with them.

This year they got all kinds of gifts and candy from daycare, grandparents, and their Auntie Leah.  Needless to say...Mommy and Daddy bought NO candy!  They each got a new outfit to wear to the party and lots of love and hugs!  What a great day to enjoy my Valentines!

9 months old

I can't believe our little man is already 9 months old!  And to think...when Reagan was 9 months old we found out there was going to be baby #2!  Not this time though!  We are quite content and happy with our little family.

At nine months old you can do so much...
-You wear 9-12 months in clothes
-You wear a size 2 shoe
-You are standing and cruising the furniture
-You are pulling yourself up in your bed (and everywhere else)
-You finally have one tooth!
-You love to get into EVERYTHING your sister has
-You have survived your first 4 snow days
-You love fruit, yogurt, carrots, spinach, potatoes, sweet potatoes, and squash
-You are not a fan of rice or macaroni
-You could probably eat a whole chicken if you just had some more teeth
You are the light of our lives and we all love you very much.  We are so proud of all your accomplishments and look forward to many more!

Happy 9 months little man!

Ready or not...

Woke up Saturday morning to see my sweet little man standing up in his crib!  At 9 months old, Reagan had been standing for about 2 months.  But, Adam is a little more laid back.  So...this was a surprise!  He's been trying to pull up for a few days now so I knew it wouldn't be long.  Guess I'll have to face the reality...we're about to have 2 toddlers!   Chances are...they'll be toddling in opposite directions very soon and giving us a run for our money!  We're looking forward to each memory we make and can't wait to see what the future holds!

Snow Days

It's been 3 long days spent in the house.  My house is clean (except for the bathroom items having to be moved into the kitchen), laundry is caught up (including the ironing), and my blog has been relatively caught up!  Now what?!  School is closed again tomorrow which means no daycare.  However, the roads are still supposed to be pretty bad.  So...what do I do?  I feel guilty to miss more work.  So, more than likely, I will wait till Aaron gets home to stay with the kids, put on my big girl pants, and get going.  Hands lightly at 10 and 2, avoid the brakes and accelerator, steer in the direction that you want to go, and drive slow praying the entire way!  Wish me luck, say your prayers, and stay off of Hwy 36!  =)

4 wheelin fun

What better idea than to load up 4 four-wheelers and a mule and go for a ride on some trails!  It was a blast!  I have to admit...I didn't enjoy it when my husband tried to throw me off the back, when Bobby flipped over in the rut, when Aaron and my Dad when up such a crazy incline that there were 2 wheels on the ground and one on a tree and the other in the air, OR when we went on such a narrow trail with such a steep drop off that the four-wheelers were sliding sideways in the sand!  Despite all that...it was a great time!
