"I Two!"

Happy Birthday Miss Reagan!
I can't believe my baby is 2 years old!  You have grown up into such a fun little girl.  Your laughter is infectious and your cries are heart breaking.  You give the best hugs with little pats on the back.  You've had your first staple and no broken bones!  You've only had 1 earache and only 1 fever.  You weigh 27.5 pounds and are 2 feet 11 inches.  You could run and play all day!  You love to swing and you love to slide and you love to climb.  You show no fear!  You still sleep in your crib because you haven't climbed out of it YET!  You love taking bubble baths.  You're a GREAT big sister.  You share your food with anyone who wants a bite.  You eat everything covered in Ranch dressing.  Your favorite shoes are still your rain boots.  You never sit still.  You love your Daddy, your Opa, your Poppa, and Old Dad.  You are definitely an outdoor girl.  You love to watch bugs and deer.  You can name every animal on the farm and the sound they make.  You say all kinds of words.  Some of my favorite include: Bumblebee, "pwetty," pirate, Bubba, "Noman," please, apple juice, and...everything else!  You are such a joy to us and we are so glad that you are in our lives!
We Love You!

Non-Paid Advertisement

After trying everything I could find that "treats eczema" and is safe for infants, after spending well over $80 on these products, and over $70 on new "organic cotton" clothing...we have success!  So beware!  Here comes an unpaid advertisement for Melaluca Renew.  I saw a picture in the products book that showed a child with eczema  whose skin cleared up in 4 days!  YEAH!!!  So...try ANYTHING at this point was my thought.  We were desperate for sleep and comfort for little Adam.  So...I took some before and after pictures and I enthusiastically recommend this product!!!
My pictures are 6 days apart, but we started seeing a change in Adam's comfort the day after we started using it.

Before: His head and face was red, splotchy, and scaly.  Not to mention all the scratches.
 After: Cleared up!
Before:  Adam's left arm was the WORST!  The pictures don't do it justice.  At one time it was so bad that his eczema spots were open and bleeding.
After:  This took a little longer to clear up but it looks even better now!
Before:  The next 3 pictures are before.  Again...they were scratched open and scaly.  The pictures looking so much better than what he did.

Our first bath with the Renew Body Wash.
After:  While still a little splotchy and red...there are no more scaly patches and he has stopped scratching.
Before: His little tummy was cover with little read splotches, especially where people would out their hands to hold him.
 After:  Pretty much cleared up!

All in all we were VERY successful with the Melaluca products.  We continue to use the body wash and lotion as his ONLY skin products.  We have also had to switch to ALL FREE detergent but we're probably going to start using Melaluca laundry detergent also.  Adam has also gone back to wearing his regular clothing without a reaction.  The only problem we still encounter is when other people hold him that use regular laundry detergent and softner.

THANK YOU MELALUCA (and Becky for the introduction)!!!

Rainboots...

I never imagined that a little girl could be so fascinated by rainboots.  Through her 2 short years of life she has possessed 3 pair of rain boots.  And with every pair of rain boots there is always as interesting outfit!

Pair #1.  Yellow boots with pink flowers.  Given to us by Ms. Kari, Avery, and Addison.
Serving their purpose!
Pair #2.  These pink, yellow, and green striped boots were given to Reagan by Ms. Cindye and Victoria.  These were probably the most worn pair of boots we've owned.  They went everywhere and were, again, worn with EVERY outfit!
I guess when you're THIS cute it doesn't matter of your shoes match!
Pair #3: Green boots with froggie faces.  Also given to us by Ms. Cindye and Victoria.  These remain our current boots.  They are actually a size 10, but that doesn't matter to a little girl who likes to play in the mud puddles.

It's contagious

Vampire movies are a big hit this year.  Reagan is only trying to keep up with the times!

I've got mail

Adam got his first package in the mail from his Auntie Leah.  With all of his skin problems, we sent Auntie Leah on a mission to find organic cotton clothing.  Boy did we pick the right person!  We got about 6 new outfits AND a bubble maker for the bath tub!

Thank you Auntie Leah!
