4 wheelin fun

What better idea than to load up 4 four-wheelers and a mule and go for a ride on some trails!  It was a blast!  I have to admit...I didn't enjoy it when my husband tried to throw me off the back, when Bobby flipped over in the rut, when Aaron and my Dad when up such a crazy incline that there were 2 wheels on the ground and one on a tree and the other in the air, OR when we went on such a narrow trail with such a steep drop off that the four-wheelers were sliding sideways in the sand!  Despite all that...it was a great time!

Cheesin' and Crackers

Snack time!

So...I've noticed that I have a lot of pictures of the kids eating.  I promise this is not what we do all day!  It just seems to be when the kids are happiest and when they're contained!  =)  So...I apologize for all the pictures taken around the dining table, but it's just the time that I get to sit back and observe rather than wrestle!

My day with Daddy by Reagan

I love staying at home with Daddy!  He lets me stay in my PJs ALL day and I never have to brush my hair or my teeth!  He even lets me play outside on the play ground in my PJs and I get them all dirty!  I love staying with my daddy!

Happy 5th Anniversary

So...I have to try something new!  I am using all of the space in my picasa web album and can't put very many more pictures on my blog!  So...instead of erasing or cutting back on pictures...here's my solution! Hope they are fun to look at!  They were actually fun and easy to make!

For our 5th anniversary Aaron decided to book us a trip to Fredericksburg.  We stayed at a bed and breakfast.  Yes...we had to eat with other people.  Lesson learned:  We are NOT bed and breakfast people if we have to socialize!  Imagine that!  However, we did have a good time talking to everyone and the food was amazing!  The first day we went to the Admiral Nimitz Museum and then walked around town.  We decided not to drive out to the vineyards after going through the museum.  So...instead we wine tasted on main street!  Still a good time.  We also drove out to Luckenbach but got there a little too early for the music.  So...we drove back, got dressed up and headed out to Crossroads for a fabulous meal!  On Sunday we ventured out to Enchanted Rock.  I have to admit...it was my favorite part of the trip.

We had a blast!  I hated for it to end.  But...I guess it's my turn to plan something for Valentine's Day.

Daddy Day

So...while Mommy's at work...the kids will play!
My little man is standing at the couch.  STANDING!!!  He hadn't been doing that!  However, it was later confessed that Aaron stood him up and he had a horribly uncontrolled sit down!  I guess we're not quite there yet.
And, Reagan...well...she's doing Crossfit with the broom handle!  Scary thought to think about how much this broom stick was swung around things that break!
What a fun day!

This was also our anniversary!  The kids and Aaron were supposed to be getting ready for the weekend away!  The kiddos went to the farm with Granny and Opa and we were off to Fredericksberg!  All Reagan kept saying was "Go ride moo with Opa and barn with Opa.  And Opa!"  She's smitten!

Oh the pain!!!

So...my first question is why would you do a work out that DOESN'T make you hurt the next 2 days?!  We just started a new "gym."  Technically, it's not built yet, but is opening soon!  We've done a few workouts with them though and they are a killer!  I think I've been 4 or 5 times and I can honestly say... I can tell a difference!  It's called Crossfit.  It's not new, just new to me.  There have been a couple of people in Abilene doing this out of their garage and now it's getting bigger!  So far...it's been great.  It's a small group of people and they hold you accountable, encourage you, know your goals, help you with your nutrition, and want you to achieve your goals!  Just what I needed!  I'm loving the fact that I can't straighten my arms and I want to scream every time I get on the floor to play with the kids or work with patients!  I encourage everybody to check it out!  Here is Aaron in misery.  Sorry Aaron.  You look good though!  =)
