Summer Fun!

Reagan got to experience her first Barr reunion out at Lake Brownwood.  Which, of course, meant that she got to go out on the boat for the first time!  We bought her a little life jacket at Sam's and we were off!

She wasn't very fond of her life jacket at first...

She sure did enjoy watching Daddy wakeboard.
All in all it was a fun trip out on the lake.  Reagan never did get in the water, but we put her little toes in.  She quickly pulled them out!

Me and Opa

Granny and Opa came to see me for Daddy's birthday (and play with me).  While they were here I got to try a new cookie.  And now I LOVE ginger snaps.
Later, after we finished eating ginger snaps, cleaned our hands and faces, and changed clothes me and Opa decided to take a break.  We stretched out, crossed our legs, and took a break while Mommy and Granny finshed cooking for Daddy's birthday party.
I had so much fun with my Granny and Opa.  I can't wait for them to come back!

Peas Please. Or... maybe not!

So...This was our 1st attempt at peas.  Believe it or not... she really does like peas today!

Go Daddy!

We left at 11:00 PM on Thursday, May 21st for Angel Fire, NM.  We drove all night and arrived at our campsite around 10 AM on Friday, May 22nd.  Reagan was a trooper!  She slept the whole way there until we stopped at Burger King for breakfast and Reagan got her first crown.  She wasn't sure what to think about that!  We got the camper up just in time for the rain.
Reagan and I stayed in the camper that first day.  We ate lunch, took a nap, got dressed, and just had a lazy day.  When Aaron got back we made dinner and enjoyed listening to the rain on the camper.  Reagan took some time to play with her toys.
Then...her and Aaron looked at some reading material from the campsite.  Aaron read it and Reagan ate it!
The next morning, we woke up to make breakfast for Aaron.  It was still raining so Reagan and I took the opportunity to have a lazy morning while Aaron went up to the mountain early.
This was Daddy's regular wake up call!  How can anyone have a grumpy morning when you have such a sweet alarm clock?!
That afternoon, the weather cleared up and we got the chance to go play on the mountain with Daddy.   Reagan was loving the attention from everybody up on the mountain and Aaron was loving having his little girl to watch him practice.

The next day was race day.  The previous day Daddy showed us where we should go to watch.  So...Reagan and I set out with BOB (the stroller) about an hour before the race to climb the mountain that Daddy would be riding down.  Mommy had to stop a few times on the way up.  It was a little hard to breathe and a few places were so steep Mommy had to pull BOB up backwards.  But, we made it!!!  We pulled out a jacket to sit on and just waited for Daddy.
Here's a video.  Please...no comments about the videography!  I'm not to good with the camera! =)  Here's a brief over view of what you're about to see.  Aaron comes off of a jump (Angel Fire sign) that is approx. "6 feet down and 15 feet out" and lands it.  Sort of... Somehow he gets off course and goes through the course tape.  (Meanwhile, in the video...you're looking at trees.)  The course tape gets wrapped around his neck and he has to stop to get out of it.  He eventually gets free, but gets passed, before he gets going again.  However, he did place 4th and is qualified for nationals!  YEAH!

After all the fun of climbing up a mountain and then back down...we went back to the camper for a little bath.  It was a great trip and we're loving the camper!
Aaron is planning another trip to Crested Butte, CO.  We won't get to go, but we're really hoping to go to Nationals in Granby, CO in July!  We'll keep you all updated!

Bringing you up to speed...

Just to catch back up...here's a very brief overview of our life since the last post!  Lots of things have been changing around here.  Reagan is working on a couple of teeth and has been for a while, but they are still not here!  Some days you can see the white and other days you can't!

We have also moved back out to the country.  We have now been in our new house for a month and we are loving it!  Thanks to all the grandparents, great-grandparents, cousins, friends, etc...we moved everything in 2 days, had walls painted within 2 weeks, and everything put away and decorated within 2 weeks in time for a baby shower!  Reagan (and mommy) was a little over whelmed at times, but we made it!  Now we can just sit back and enjoy all the hard work!

While the inside of the house is finished, there is still a little work to do in the yard!  Reagan is taking care of the giant pink and purple bug infestation while we mow, trim hedges, and pull weeds!  And, of course, Aaron has been bust digging out tanks and build dirt jumps and trails for his bike!  First things first!  =)

May was a very busy month for us!  We went to Angel Fire, NM (post to come soon), celebrated Reagan's 6 month birthday, Aaron's 28th birthday, and Reagan's last day at Ms. Cindye's house.  So, of course, those were opportunities for picture of Reagan!

This is Reagan's first time at Olive Garden.  We went to Olive Garden with Nana & Pawpaw for Daddy's birthday.  She was rather loud hat night, but a happy loud!  She loved the breadsticks and kept everyone around us entertained.  All this while she ate her duck!  This night was also her 6 month birthday!  Time flies!

My 6 month old sweetheart!  She is so grown up and just too darn cute!!!

Reagan had to show off her new shoes.  Daddy bought her some pink Converse Chuck Taylor's.  They're a little big right now, but she sure was proud and cute!

So...I got into this habit of taking a picture of her every morning before we leave for daycare.  She seems to pose the best in the morning!  We've just had too much fun over the past 6 months!  By the way... Reagan is 27.5 inches long, 16 lbs. 4 oz., and her head is 17.5 inches.  Tje doctor said she is doing everything she should and so much more!   She wants to crawl, but we're not quite there.  She has started pulling up to standing on things that she can wrap her hands around (kitchen faucet, crib, etc.)  She's so much fun to make smile and laugh!
What did we do before her?!

Sitting Pretty

Reagan is getting so big!  We're now 5 months old and she is able to sit on her own.  Admittedly...it doesn't last long, but she sure is cute (and maybe a bit devious)!
Reagan went out to eat after this picture was taken and sat up in a high chair with her floppy seat for the 1st time.  She loved being able to sit up!

They call him the Fireman

Aaron participated in a Police vs. Fire competition.  The first portion of the competition included an axe simulator, carrying a weighted dummy, and using a fire hose.  Then they rode 2 miles on the mountain biking trails before firing at the shooting range.

It was all a very fun day and Aaron took 1st place overall!  =)
