I think I just celebrated one of my favorite birthdays EVER!!! My sweet husband called some of our friends and we all went out to eat at the Olive Garden. All together there were12 adults and 8.5 children! What a night! I look back at the pictures from that night and just smile to see how my life has changed and developed! Little did I know...when I moved here 8 years ago for PT school...I would never leave. I would meet my husband, find a job right across the street from the school, get married, have 2 wonderful children, buy a home, and start every morning looking forward to what my day would hold! I love waking up with my husband on Saturday mornings to make breakfast. I love holding my children. I love reading bed time stories and giving baths. I love road trips to the mountains to watch 10 sec. of a race following a 30 min hike pushing 2 kids in a 60# stroller UP the mountainside. I love sneaking my baby girl into our bed on nights when Aaron isn't home. And I look forward to many more nights with 2 kids in the bed! I love waking up on Sunday mornings and heading out to church, even though we're ALWAYS in a rush. I love ironing every article of clothing. I love having fun with friends at the lake. I wish it happened more often. I love have get togethers for no reason. I wish they happened more often. I love showing off my family to everyone.
I LOVE MY LIFE!
The road I traveled to get here wasn't always smooth and was frequently curvy, but...it shaped me...it shaped my life. And that makes me thankful for every bump, pothole, 90 degree turn, etc...that brought me to this place. What a great 29 years it has been!
